Light pink and silver glitter nails

Hello lovelies! it's been almost a week since I write and review a product. The past week has been really a busy week because of the elections here in my country, and me being lazy. Also I realized that summer is almost over here because it's been raining for sometime now.
...But I'm here now and back with a new post!

And today, I want to show you guys the nail color I picked to wear for this week.

light/pastel pink and silver glitter.

I really love this pink shade I bought from Flormar cosmetics, Flormar is a russian make up brand btw and they also have a wide range of make ups besides their nail polish. They also have a lot of nail polish shades to choose from! ^_^ (http://www.flormar.com/English/)
What I use:
  • Flormar supershine nail polish in no. 29.
  • A gray/silver nail polish that I used under the silver glitter.
  • Glitter.
  • Clear topcoat. I used a quick drying topcoat.

And voila! I achieved these really cute looking nails, I really love  how light this pink is, it's really cool looking, the shade is very light, I love how pastel it is, and perfect with any occasions and it can standout because of its colour. Flormar nail polish is aso really shiny and it is indeed long wearing, as indicated on their nail polish glass bottle!
I hope you like my nails as much as I do. And you guys should check out the wide variety of nail polish colours they have, and their make ups too.

How about you? What shade of nail polish or design do you like and enjoy wearing?

Until next time guys!

Oh oh oh Olay active hydrating beauty fluid - My featured product for today

Hello lovelies~

Today's been a very lazy day for me today, I'm actually torn in deciding if I'm going to write today, or not. I've been sitting for hours infront of my laptop just chatting with a few friends and checking other stuffs, while my real plan was to immediately edit/put watermarks on the photos I'm going to use here, but I ended up doing it for more than an hour because of multitasking which in reality, It'll only take me less than 15minutes to finish the task. I also plan on starting to write and post here as soon as I finish editing the photos but I ended up not doing it and just decided to start in which I'm doing now hahaha.

Well anyways, moving on to my review.
Today I'm going to talk about this another Olay product that I'm also using. (I have 4 Olay products but I retired using the other one because I don't like it and it didn't do anything to my skin at all)

It's called, Olay active hydrating beauty fluid in original
Olay beauty fluid in original comes in a 177ml (6.0FL OZ.) light pink plastic bottle with black cap.

The product claims that it is:
  • Light
  • Non-Greasy
  • Dermatologist tested
  • Won't clog pores
It also:
  • Provides your skin with an immediate surge of active moisture to soothe dryness without greasy feel.
  • Leaves skin softer, smoother and more supple.
  • Diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

The product comes in a very light pink watery cream that is not sticky, not heavy, and non greasy.
It has a pleasant light powdery smell that diminishes after a little while when you apply it to your skin.

What I like about the product:
  • It's light, non greasy, not sticky and not oily when you apply it and the product isn't thick. But since my skin is oily, I oil up after a few hours.
  • My skin absorbs it really well.
  • It really is hydrating and it made me feel like I've given my skin a glass of water to drink cause of it's immediate hydrating effect.
  • It helps with my round dry patches whenever I have it and I put it in.
  • It didn't break me out.
  • It's gentle and it's a very mild moisturizer and I didn't experience any weird feeling like itchiness, redness, or irritation.
  • It makes my skin soft and smooth when I wake up in the morning and I substitute it over my Olay total effect 7in1 moisturizer.

Dislikes:
  • Doesn't have an SPF
  • Makes my pores more enlarged and noticeable whenever I'm just home and I use it.
  • It'll be a little huge and heavy if I put it in my bag anf I try to bring it along with me.

Well, I got this product as one of the many cosmetics that my aunt gifted us, she bought it on sale in one of the stores there in Palo alto California and gave it to us when she came here in the Philippines to visit, the product is good but I couldn't say much about this since it is just my standby moisturizer whenever I want to rest my skin from my total effects moisturizer and I want something lighter during the day time whenever it's hot since the product is light. But I do recommend this product since I believe it is gentle on the skin, a good hydrating light moisturizer for your dry thirsty skin hahaha!
But, it doesn't have an SPF, sadly :/ but if the lack of SPF doesn't bother you, then I guess you should give this product a try! <3

So until next post guys! I hope you liked this one, and lemme know your experience with Olay beauty fluid.
xoxo

My featured product for today - Olay Natural White instant glowing fairness cream

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to talk about and feature a product of Olay, It's Olay Natural White Instant Glowing Fairness Cream ^_^.

I really love Olay products, especially their beauty fluid and Olay total effects 7in1 day cream which I'm about to review soon, so watch out for it. :]
So moving on...

This cream is one of Olay's cheapest products here in our country, Philippines, a 20gm tube is worth 79php(more or less $1.98). They have a bigger tube I guess that comes in a 40gm tube but I'm not quite sure how much it is, sorry +_+ but they also have sachets of it! 7.5gm sachet is worth 19php, really cheap and it's travel friendly, even their small tube. The sachet has a plastic nozzle so it's leak free.

(20gm tube and the sachets)

(20gm tube)

The cream has a semi thick consistency, it's not watery, but the cream is light and is not greasy aswell. It has a peachy white colour(it's not too white) and it has a nice smell that doesn't hurt my nose, the scent is powdery with a hint of floral scent, like Jasmine or something, the smell subsides and fades after a shortwhile once it's applied on the face.

The cream is light and non greasy. Once it's applied, the cream glides and blends well on my face, my face absorbs the cream easily. It leaves a white cast at first but after a few minutes and when the cream oxidizes, the white cast subsides and it made my skin look instantly refreshed, it also brighten up my skin instantly and it has a matte finish. It's great to use whenever you want to sport a no make up look, just use this and put a tinted lip balm like from Maybelline baby lips, or a light/soft pink matte lipstick, curl your eyelashes, and you're good to go!
It's also a good makeup base, I use this whenever I go out instead of using my Olay total effects cream. After I wash my face, I use my Dickinson's Witch Hazel toner (My toner review here) and put this cream on my face before I put my bb cream or bb cream foundation, it helps to smoothen up when I apply my bb cream/bb foundation, and still leaves a smooth and matte finish once I'm done with my make up. I have a very oily skin so I oil up after a few hours, though the product didn't say that it will help with the oiliness on the face.

As for the effects on my skin, I haven't seen any yet since I only use it when I go out to add smoothness and instant glowing and brightening effect, but it is a good stand alone product if you want to leave your skin make up free when you go out or in a hurry. ^_^

So we'll go now to my pros and cons: <3

What I like about this product:
  • It instantly brighten up my face and gives an instant glow after I apply it on my clean face.
  • Travel friendly. It's very handy, the sachets and the 20gm tube can fit in my bag, and the sachets can fit on my make up bag if I want to bring it along with me.
  • The product comes in sachets with a leak proof plastic nozzle with cap.
  • Cheap and affordable, comes in 2 sizes tubes and a 7.5 grm sachets.
  • Has a very nice scent, it's mild and doesn't really hurt my nose, I even love smelling it! hahaha
  • Has a smooth and matte finish when applied alone and w/o any bb cream/bb foundation or any powder.
  • Light, non greasy and it doesn't leave my face sticky.
  • It's a good make up base.
  • Also a nice go to product and a stand alone product when you want to leave your face make up free.
  • it feels light on my skin and It leaves my skin smooth and looking fresh when I apply this after my Witch Hazel toner. <3 <3 <3

What I don't like about this product:
  • I haven't seen any good results and effects yet when I started using this cream, well I only use this product as my make up base when I go out.
  • Doesn't have an SPF, it only says that it has UV protection but it didn't specify if it has SPF.
  • The product didn't claim that it can help with minimizing the wrinkles.

Will I repurchase? YES! I will definitely repurchase.

Since I have another moisturizer from Olay aswell, that I use every night and during the day if I'm not going anywhere, I still like to have this cream with me cause I can use it as my stand alone product if I wanna have a no make up look, and as a make up base.
But I don't want to give up on using my Olay total effects moisturizer in exchange of this one since I love the results of Olay total effects on my skin, that's also why I'm planning to make a product review of it aswell soon.

So there we have it! I hope you enjoy reading my post and I'll see you guys again next time <3. And btw, I bought the products I use and feature here using my own money hahahaha! I will let you guys know though if it's a gift, giveaway etc. lol.

So, see you on my next post guys! <3

*Wanna say anything about my post/posts and help me improve my future posts? Or you want me to try out and write something about other products? Comment me here or email me. I will really appreciate it!

Gold glitter and Hot pink nails

So I thought of trying this hot pink and gold glitter block nails a few days ago, and the result was perfect and I loved it!

I got the idea from BYS cosmetics when I saw a photo on their facebook site ( https://www.facebook.com/BYSCOSMETICS?fref=ts) using their gold glitter dust nail polish.

I wanted to buy their kit, but thought of trying a cheaper version of the nail design, what I used here is a gold glitterdust that my sister bought at the school supplies store (hahaha).
And surprisingly, it still turned out good!

The pink nail polish I used here is from Revlon (210 Electric Pink).

The gold nail polish I used under the glitter dust is from faceshop (GL111).

And another glitter gold polish from a korean beauty store aswell named Elianto (03 Divine Gold).

Yes, I used 2 coats from different gold nail polish before I dipped my ring finger to the glitterdust my sister bought at the school supplies store.
(I'll try to upload a photo of the stuffs I used soon when I edit this post.)
(L to R: Revlon 210 Electric Pink, Elianto 03 Divine Gold, The Faceshop GL111, A local brand here in the Philippines called Caronia quick dry top coat, glitter dust from the school supplies store[can also get at the art supplies store], an old brush from our Clinique blush on,we used this to dust off excess glitters)

I'm seeing lots of ideas over Pinterest especially the glitter block nails and I'm planning to try doing different designs and post it here. ^_^

Dickinson's Witch Hazel toner (yellow) And a little introduction about me :P

Hello everyone,
for a very long time, I've been thinking of creating a blogsite and review about the stuffs I use on a regular basis and about other things aswell, mostly skincare products, make ups etc etc. But I never had the guts to do it and was always been thinking twice if I really can maintain a blogsite if ever I open an account.

But today, I've been bored and I thought of doing a review about a skincare product that I've been using for a while, since I really really want to do blogging. But I'm a newb about all this stuffs (blogging hahaha). So I'm going to try to review this and do the best I can so bare with me!

So lately, I've been using a toner and added it to my skincare regimen, and the toner is a witch hazel toner! I was in search for a good toner for a while, used a few, but all of them has witch hazel extract on it, but I found out about this witch hazel toner that I saw on a health store, my sister told me about it cause she's using it, so I told her if I could try it for 3days/3nights to test it and see how it will react on my skin, that time, I was having breakouts on the middle of my eyebrow and a few on top and it won't go away with the acne free toner with witch hazel extract that I'm using, and I was also giving my skin a break from the products I use everyday to let my skin breathe cause I was thinking that maybe it's the weather (it's scorching hot and it's summer here right now in my country) that's why I'm having this breakouts *criiiies*
So, I tried it for 3 days, twice a day, before I go to bed, and in the morning when I wake up.

*photo courtesy of google images that I've found when I was searching for a nice photo of the toner. Not trying to claim that the image above is mine.
(Was not able to take a photo of my toner)

The product says that it helps in refining pores, controls oil, and eliminate oil on skin. Witch hazel is good in treating acnes too and in the healthcare field, it's considered as the only acceptable and safest astringent to use in cleaning the stoma (opening they make in your stomach  if you undergo Ostomy) and also for Hemorrhoids. And it's also a very good antiseptic!

So that's enough about the medical terms and stuffs, back to the review hahahaha, So I give the toner a go and tried it, and in 3 days, I did love the toner already!
So what the toner did to my face:

  • It lessened my blackheads around my nose.
  • It dried out and cured the acnes in between my eyebrows.
  • It kinda refined my pores too.
It didn't dry out my skin even if it has 14% alcohol in it (it's a safe alcohol for the skin btw ^_^).

What I like about this product:

  • It's really nice to use in cleaning my face before putting my anti-aging moisturizer too. ^_^
  • It's also nice to use before I put on my BB cream or BB cream foundation.

  • I wake up with a smooth and soft skin on my face every morning even if I use the toner alone. <33333
  •  It's really affordable and effective too. o_O
  • The price is really reasonable for the toner itself.

  • Their travel size bottle is really handy and you can carry it with you and just put it in your bag.
And I can say that this toner is one of my HG product. <3

What I don’t like about the product:

·        I think the product evaporates or maybe I’m wrong hahahaha since it’s really hot in my country. T_T

·        The hole in the bottle isn’t really convinient enough cause it’s too big.

·        I can only get the toner in a store that’s located an hour or or an hour and more away from my town called, “Healthy Options” since they are the only store that sells Dickinson’s toner and the store only has a few branches that I know.

But I love the product and I’m 100% sure that I’m going to get another bottle soon, and make sure I’ll buy the bigger bottle.

They have 3 bottles available in stores btw ^_^

So in my opinion, all in all the toner itself is a great product, BUT. It depends on every person’s skin, since it worked for me, it doesn’t mean it will work to everyone. *wink*

So until next time guys! <3 Hope you enjoy reading my review <3
